My mom and dad argue and scream at each other constantly. Neither of them will file for divorce because they don’t want to sell the house, my mom doesn’t work, et cetra. This has been going on for nearly ten years. My dad is an alcoholic and owns an excavating company. When I was 10 he threatened to drive through our house with a bulldozer and has said he would shoot us. My mom is bipolar, screaming at me one minute and “I love you, sweetie. I’m sorry.” 20 minutes later.
My mom calls me fat and I’m 5′4, I only weigh 120 I’m not even fat.
I can’t move out for another year and I’m about to have a nervous breakdown. I have to keep my parents in my life if I want to go to college. I can’t pay for it by myself (I’m 17). But if I sever ties with them next year I can move out and work w/ o college. I have my high school diploma already. Which should I do?
