A lot of the space heaters on the market use electricity but some use oil. A Delonghi space heater is available that is oil run. These heaters tend to be longer lasting when used on a regular basis. However, they do come with some inconvenience as you need to replace the oil.
At night, you will want to use heavy comforters or blankets on the beds. It is a good idea to start heating up the kitchen first thing in the morning. If the bedrooms are cold, you are sure to hear a lot of complaining. Putting the right steps in place, purchasing some room heaters and having a cup of something hot ready will get you all through the coldest periods without too much trouble.
