Keep calling everyone, even the small companys just to get you foot in the door. Then after your sure your cut out for it you can think about going to school if you want to speed up your pay.

If you can drove H E then go out and prove yourself up. It'll take me 3 minutes to know if you can handle a dozier or backhoe etc. go to school or find apprentice programs, they are usually 4 years on the job training.
